A school administrator is an educational leader who promotes the success of all students by understanding responding to, and influencing the larger political, social, economic, legal, and cultural context.
There are several ways in which Fountaindale responds to and influences the political, social, economic, legal, and cultural context:
- Student achievement through the Performing Arts, in the areas of instrumental music, choral music, and dance.
- Grade level newsletters home, and teacher letters home to families to engage them in the intellectual purpose of the school.
- Working with outside agencies to meet the students where they are for the summer reading program.
- Working with PTA to increase the membership and enhance volunteers in the school.
- Administrative membership in community service organizations
