A school administrator is an educational leader who promotes the success of all students by advocating, nurturing, and sustaining a school culture and instructional program conducive to student learning and staff professional growth
Fountaindale is aligned with the Chesapeake Coalition of Essential Schools. This year was our third year in the program and we were working towards becoming and Affirmed Coalition School. We aligned much of our professional development with the coalition.

The Charlotte Danielson Model was employed at Fountaindale for the purpose of teacher observations and evaluations. This model was also aligned with the CES principles so that teachers did not view this as "one more thing to do." Pre and Post Conferences were held with all teachers to engage in a conversation of student learning and professional growth. As a result a student achievement plan was created.

Classroom walk-throughs were completed through out the school year, and documented on Google Doc's so it could be shared with the other administrator.
